The Servant of Bahá
05:16
|
|||
My name is `Abdu'l-Bahá.
My qualification is `Abdu'l-Bahá.
My reality is `Abdu'l-Bahá.
My praise is `Abdu'l-Bahá.
Thraldom to the Blessed Perfection
is my glorious and refulgent diadem,
and servitude to all the human race my perpetual religion.
No name, no title, have I
no mention, no commendation, have I,
No name, no title, have I
no mention, no commendation, have I,
nor will ever have, except
`Abdu'l-Bahá, the Servant of Bahá
`Abdu'l-Bahá, the Servant of Bahá
`Abdu'l-Bahá, the Servant of Bahá
This is my longing.
This is my greatest yearning.
This is my eternal life.
This is my everlasting glory.
This is my longing.
This is my greatest yearning.
This is my eternal life.
This is my everlasting glory.
My name is `Abdu'l-Bahá.
My qualification is `Abdu'l-Bahá.
My reality is `Abdu'l-Bahá.

`Abdu'l-Bahá, the Servant of Bahá

Be as I am
03:47
|
|||
Behold a candle,
how it gives its light.
It weeps its life away
drop by drop to give its flame.
Ye must die to the world
and so be born again,
and know that til the end
I am always with you.
Look at Me, follow Me, be as I am
'Abdul-Baha, 'Abdul-Baha (x2)
Ye are the angels
if your feet be firm,
be steadfast as a rock
that no earthly storm can move.
And as ye have faith,
so shall your powers be
and know that until the end
I am always with you.
Look at Me, follow Me, be as I am
'Abdul-Baha, 'Abdul-Baha (x2)
How I long to travel the world in the utmost poverty
and cry out Ya Baha! God willing you will do this for Me.
Look at Me, follow Me, be as I am
'Abdul-Baha, 'Abdul-Baha

Serve All Alike
02:43
|
|||
If thou seekest eternal glory,
let thyself be humble
and meek in the presence of
the beloved of God;
make thyself the servant of all,
and serve all alike. (x2)
The service of the friends belongs to God,
not to them. (x2)
Strive to become a source of harmony,
spirituality and joyfulness
to the hearts of the friends
and the maid-servants
of the Merciful.
This is a cause of great satisfaction to Abdul-Baha.
